Keller Business Connections Guiding Values:
- Member Focused
Our Areas of Focus
KBC is at the heart of the community, connecting our members to one another and to opportunities for commerce. A core value is also supporting our non-profit organizations, which provide vital services to area residents while allowing businesses to embrace their mission. There are many ways to engage with our local community both through KBC and directly through our members. Keller Business Connections provides a great value for your business and shows support for the local community. To learn more, contact Executive Director Melissa Steen at (469)371-6105.
Comprised of local business people, civic leaders and community members whom volunteer their time and expertise to head our leadership team is the 2013 Board of Directors. We value their time and commitment to KBC and to the community, and their commitment to fully participate and partner in activities that improve the economy and quality of life here in the City of Keller. Volunteers are crucial to our organizational success. We have a great community and we work to capitalize on our own area leaders talent and innovation to create and sustain the momentum needed to build KBC.
Who are the Ambassadors that formulate our Leadership Team? Ambassadors are highly visible, prestigious volunteers who serve as KBC primary liaison to new members. They are the KBC Leadership Team and considered the goodwill arm of theorganization, they play a crucial, vital role in member communication and retention. Upon their appointment, each Ambassador makes a commitment to build lasting relationships with the KBC membership, helping connect new members with different “connectors” in our organization, in order to build a loyal and committed membership base that will continue to support/participate/ invest in KBC. Ambassadors help build relationships with KBC’s newest members. They are the frontline in facilitating networking among members and encourage meaningful participation and involvement in programs in order to enhance the membership benefits received by each member, strengthen member commitment, and increase long-term member retention.
